FORD has unveiled the seventh generation of its iconic Mustang and will come to the UK with a V8 engine.
The muscle car has been updated inside and out with a refreshed look, upgraded engines and new technology.
Ford’s new ‘Stang is offered with 2.3-liter four-cylinder and 5.0-liter V8 petrol engines elsewhere, but it’s only the V8 that will come to us.
However, we will be able to choose between a coupe or a convertible and a manual or automatic transmission.
There’s no word yet on the V8’s output, but Ford says it’s more powerful this time around, so it’ll be more than the old model’s 450 hp.
Ford has confirmed there will be an optional Performance Pack that upgrades things like the suspension, brakes and exhaust for the sharpest driving experience.
It also includes a new electronic drift braking feature that lets you drive sideways and become a drift pro. Also, you can now turn the Mustang’s V8 remotely with the key.
Why? We are not sure.
Externally, the Mustang has received a new look, with sharper headlights and a more imposing grille and hood.
At the back, you’ll notice a new spoiler and taillight design.
There are now 11 body color options with different stripe designs, as well as three color options for the brake calipers.
