Mike Lindell remains one of the loudest proponents of lying voter fraud.
The multi-millionaire who built an empire in bedding has a new goal: the next chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC).
He competes against the current RNC chairman Ronna McDaniel and Trump World Advocate Harmeet Dhillon.
In the pre-Trump era, Lindell was best known for being the founder of MyPillow. His was an inspirational story by a The recovering addict became a self-made millionaire.
Lindell could have ended his story arc there. One day he may wish he had.
Instead, he went far, far down the rabbit hole in 2020. Lindell poured tons of money into the funding, unsuccessfully, half-baked efforts tilting the election in favor of Trump.
After he came bounced off from Twitter a few weeks after Uprising in the Capitolstarted Lindell Frank speech. It’s basically a live stream of him going on Tangents while everyone he’s convinced to go on camera with him either does even wilder claims when he does or nods her head and wishes they could teleport. He has also created a social media network that does truth social look sturdy.
While others might be accused of insincere pandering when they babble about the election being stolen, Lindell is the truest believer.
As Twitter parody of him Lindell says “brings all the rebels to the court”.
Lindell in September reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had confiscated his phone and questioned him about unauthorized access to voting machines in Arizona. Lindell was not restored on Twitter (still), but he’s on Facebook, Telegram, Gab, Gettr, Parler, Truth Social, Rumble and his own Frank Social.
Read one Lindell feed, read them all. It’s about voter fraud, conspiracy theories and MyPillow product advertising. Points for consistency, Mike.
Why it matters
I want to say it doesn’t matter. But Mike Lindell is a multi-millionaire with unusually high energy and dedication.
If he puts his mind to something, he’ll either make it a resounding success like those damn pillows, or drive so deep into the ground that one almost feels sorry for him.
If there’s one thing the Republican Party has shown us over the last six years, it’s that they will vote for candidates most of us wouldn’t trust to feed our cat over the weekend.
Lindell may actually have a real shot at becoming chairman of the RNC.
