The Moscow military base is engulfed in flames in a mysterious fire that hits Russia

A huge fire has engulfed a military base in Moscow — the latest in a series of mysterious blazes that have struck Russia.
Flames raged in the army facility in the east of the capital for more than four hours.
A dramatic video shared by Forum Readovka showed smoke pouring from the site.
The city’s fire department confirmed a call about the incident just before midnight.
“The fire broke out in the garage units at Sokolinaya Gora 3, Building 10,” the emergency services told the Moskva City News Agency.
“Moscow’s emergency services are working at the scene.”
So far, the Ministry of Defense has not commented on the fire.
The rising number of suspicious fires has led some to speculate that sabotage may be at play in Russia.
It is unclear whether the military unit is linked to the war in Ukraine.
Just last week, the military-affiliated Zvezda Machine Plant in St. Petersburg was engulfed in flames – fueling rumors that Russia is being ravaged by sabotage attacks.
The plant produces high-speed diesel engines for the military and civilian fleets, as well as transmissions for power plants of medium-tonnage warships.
It also supplies coastal patrol vessels, including those deployed off Ukraine’s attacked Black Sea regions.
Two shopping malls in Moscow also caught fire recently, and the causes have not yet been confirmed.
