Have you ever found bird droppings on your window but still have weeks until your window cleaner is due?

Well, one man found a quick and easy way to clean them — and all you have to do is flick a latch.

“Right guys I have some bird droppings on the window and I need to clean it but I can’t get my arm out,” Right Guys Review site said in a video on its TikTok page.

“So all you do is open the window all the way and you see these little latches there?

“You push them in and slide them to the side and look at that — it opens right up.”

In the video, he pointed out the small latches at the top and bottom of the window frame.

“Do the top one too — open it all the way,” he continued.

When he did that, he moved the window to the center so he could take his arm all the way out.

“Here we go – I can clean up the bird droppings,” he concluded.

“Who knew about it? What a hack!”

“You guys are going to put a lot of window cleaners out of business now,” one person commented on the video.

“I learned this a while ago, changed my life and saved myself money,” added another.

“Wow so cool,” wrote a third.

And someone else commented, “They’re called Easy-Clean hinges. As an architect, I’m specifying them more and more.”

Others insisted that not all windows have this feature, with one writing, “My windows don’t.”
