The largest container ship in the world docks in Great Britain

The world’s largest cargo ship has arrived in Britain.
Ever Ace is the record holder for most containers loaded onto a single ship.
With a length of 400 m and a width of 60 m, it can accommodate around 23,992 standard containers.
On Sunday morning the ship arrived at Britain’s busiest and largest container port at Felixstowe, Suffolk.
The vessel, operated by Taiwanese shipping company Evergreen Marine Corporation, arrived from Rotterdam and was unloaded this morning.
Pictures show the sheer size, occupying a huge part of the harbor and dwarfing a tugboat.
It was built in 2021 and docked in Felixstowe on its maiden voyage in September of the same year.
It is owned by the same company as its notorious cousin, Ever Given, which blocked the Suez Canal in March 2021, sparking a global trade chaos.
The six-day debris heaps stranded the 20,000 or so containers aboard this massive ship – and blocked the way for countless others.
But Evergreens Ever Ace is a newer and even larger class of containers than the Given.
