Watch The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 16 “The Good Lawyer”

previously on The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 15, returns Dr. Jared Kalu surprisingly returned to St. Bonaventure Hospital in San Jose with his billionaire patient. Meanwhile, Park must deal with the man his wife was having an affair with and try to find a way to forgive him.

At The Good Doctor Season 6 Episode 16, dr Shaun Murphy is seduced by the man he and Dr. Park, sued for medical malpractice. However, in order to save the man, they had to make the decision to amputate his hand!

Felicity Huffman guest stars as Janet Stewart in Season 6 of The Good Doctor

Shaun sought legal advice from Dr. Glassman’s personal friend and attorney, Janet Stewart (portrayed by Felicity Huffman). She advised him to settle the case. He was considering a $300,000 payout agreement that his professional liability insurance would pay. However, it came with the stipulation that another doctor had to sign off on all of his medical decisions for six months. Of course, Shaun was uncomfortable because he often disagrees with his colleagues.

Shaun struggled with deciding whether to lose the case. The plaintiff would pay out his insurance he could lose his license to practice medicine. This forces Shaun to accept the plea deal until his decision is confronted by paralegal Joni DeGroot (portrayed by Kennedy McMann). McMann suffered from OCD in real life and has made a significant recovery, bringing a real aspect to the character.

Joni fascinated Shaun because she suffered from OCD. The way she challenged authority reminded him of himself He fired Joni’s boss and hired her as his attorney! Everyone questioned the move, including Joni, but Shaun has complete confidence in Joni, even though she’s never tried a case in court before.

This episode sets the stage for a new TV series spin-off… The good lawyer. Starring Felicity Huffman as a young, brilliant, thorough and promising attorney who may have quirks but is genuine… will it make for great TV? It is expected to premiere in late 2023, will you be watching The Good Lawyer?
