The results obtained are different from what many assume.

Waiting until the second date to have sex results in a 15 percent chance of a long-term relationship.

Waiting three months to have sex increases your chances back to 3 percent, which isn’t necessarily much better.

If it’s been four months or more since the first date and you still haven’t had sex, then you have a 2 percent chance of a lasting relationship.

Your chances go back up to 8 percent if you wait a full year to have sex with someone you’re interested in.

The results of this survey seem to prove that sex on the first date doesn’t necessarily doom everything.
