The excitement mounts for the Battlehawks’ home opener

ST. LOUIS – People are excited about football’s return to St. Louis. The Battlehawks home opener is today in the Dome at America’s Center.
The Battlehawks are hosting a tailgate party before tonight’s game at 3:00 p.m., and other nearby venues – including Ballpark Village – are ready to welcome fans.
The return comes after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The BattleHawks were 3-2 and averaging the league’s best 28,500 home crowd.
New XFL owner Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is expecting 30,000 fans at The Dome today for their home game against the Arlington Renegades.
But before the 3:00 p.m. kick-off, fans in downtown St. Louis will be lining up and gathering.
Laclede’s Landing will host dense festivities at Katherine Ward Burg Garden three hours before each home game.
Ballpark Village will be hosting a pre-game party for fans 21+ with a complimentary shuttle to and from The Dome from 12pm to 2pm.
St. Louis Parking has about two dozen lots near The Dome that are available for parking but not drive-up.
Parking will open three hours before kick-off, with no in/out privileges. No open flames, grills, tables or tents are allowed
The Battlehawks will host five home games this season at The Dome At America’s Center
The team recently announced that ticket sales for tonight’s game have been expanded to the upper level of The Dome at America’s Center
