The Domino’s driver asks the customer for a tip before handing them the pizza

A customer posted surveillance camera footage of a Domino’s delivery driver asking for a tip as he handed him a pizza in a now viral TikTok, which angered some people in the comments.

In the video posted by TikToker X (@user626366461) on December 11, the Domino employee asks for a tip and indicates that the customer has a car if the person doesn’t immediately offer one. She then tells them to “drive” to get their pizza.

The customer explains to the driver that the delivery is more for her “convenience” and says “Hello” without tipping her.

“Next time you go get it,” says the worker as they exit the porch.

The caption reads: “Um… The claim is killing me. #dominos come get your girl Absolutky the f not.

The video has been viewed over 2.7 million times as of December 13, with users dividing about who was wrong.

“STG get your broke next time and get it,” one commenter slammed the customer.

“It’s embarrassing not to tip a driver,” wrote another.

However, others came to the customer’s defense and upset the driver for asking for a tip before completing the delivery.

“If someone literally ‘tip?’ before I even got a chance to reach into my pocket and grab it, I just wouldn’t give it to her anymore,” wrote one user.

“I always tip. But the audacity, immediately ‘tip?’ accept? said another.

“But who asks for a tip BEFORE giving the pizza? Lol,” added a third.

The user responded to some of the outrage in her video about not tipping by sharing a new video, telling the driver and others who were upset that they could learn to code.

The Daily Dot contacted X via TikTok comment and Domino’s via email.
