CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Coral Springs Police Department said in a news release on Friday that it will be running a safe driving campaign for youth in the coming months to promote safer roads.
According to CSPD Public Information Officer Chris Swinson, “The goal of this campaign is to reduce accidents due to bad driving.”
Driver education efforts continue in an effort to promote safe driving among the youth population.
During these operations, CSPD traffic unit officers are assigned to problem areas where vehicle accidents are common.
According to a press release, “These uniformed officers will not only educate drivers about aggressive driving, but will also issue subpoenas to those who do not comply with state law.”
The operation will be carried out regularly between January and November 2023.
