Fairly chilly out there early Thursday morning, once again with many towns and cities starting into the 30’s. Some cities are taking on patchy frost. I think that will happen again by early Friday morning, so prepare to layer up (and maybe scratch that windshield again).
However, Friday afternoon feels a lot nicer with less wind and warmer temperatures. Most cities should hit the low to mid 60s by afternoon. A great October day. As for the weekend, Saturday is the pick of the weekend with continued sunshine, gentle breezes and warm temperatures!
You can probably deduce from the 3-day chart why Saturday is the weekend pickup…..Sunday offers more clouds and a few showers likely by afternoon. The shower threat is not a ban (also note the 60%…not 100%). As of now, I’d say the chance is a little higher on the south coast/cape than New Hampshire. There are still many outdoor activities like Head Of The Charles starting on Friday…
Or maybe to Salem for sightseeing (lol)…
And of course, the foliage still rocks, more here in southern New England than up north.
Even here in southern New England, there has been a significant amount of leaf debris throughout the region, which begs the question…are you raking/cleaning in waves or all at once?
I prefer to do it in stages.
