The bride, who was warned by her mum not to get “too drunk” on her wedding day, opens up about how her big day went – and people are let down

A newlywed has revealed that shortly after her mum told her not to “get drunk” on her wedding day, she fell down a muddy hill in her dress.

A TikTok user named Shannon relived her big mistake of the day by posting a short video on the social media site – and her followers found the whole thing very entertaining.

In a clip with Britney Spears’ song “Oops I Did It Again” playing in the background, Shannon showed how her day began.

Alongside a stunning snap of her getting ready on the vanity chair hours before heading down the aisle, Shannon revealed her mum had delivered a stern warning to her.

She wrote, “Mom — ‘don’t drink too much, you’re going to want to remember this day.'”

The TikTok video then later in the day, when it’s dark, shows Shannon rolling down a steep hill while still wearing her wedding dress.

As Shannon’s followers laughed out loud at the footage, they asked if she had any more photos of the moment.

She responded with another video, explaining: “So I have some photos, but they’re probably not acceptable for that.

She then shared a snap of her lying on the floor with a man and quipped, “Here’s the best man because I think my husband had had enough of my shit by that point.

As the video garnered likes and comments, many said it was great to see Shannon having so much fun on their wedding day.

One wrote: “What’s the point of a wedding anniversary if this isn’t the result.”
