The bride has broken down over another couple taking photos outside their wedding venue – but she made an embarrassing mistake

SOMETIMES weddings can become a competition where the bride has the best dress, the best location and even the best ceremony.

A bride took to a Facebook group to complain about a couple who appeared to “had pretended their venue was theirs” – but was met with criticism rather than sympathy.

A woman whose identity The US Sun has decided to protect took to the Facebook group That’s It, I’m Wedding Shaming to rant about her dramatic wedding day.

“To shame a bride, a groom, a photographer and everyone who was ever involved in raising her,” she said at the beginning of her post, cautioning readers about the post.

“I got married in a historic place in San Diego on Saturday. A museum overlooking the old town [money] to make ours.”

She then explained that as she drove up to her venue, she saw another bride and groom taking photos at the venue while “standing strategically in front of the private event sign and blocking the stairway that I had decorated and the my guests use”.

Apparently she got into a rage and “flew out of my mother-in-law’s car before it even stopped”.

She claimed a “rabid hyena took over my body.”

“I was screaming, cursing, gesturing and I was basically in the middle of a full blown breakdown,” she confessed.

“They didn’t even look at me when the photographer took pictures of the fake bride and groom outside my venue. Looking at my neon sign. my lounge My centerpieces. My pink water goblets!!

“He casually told me, ‘We’ll only be here for two minutes.’ Then the bride casually called me a bitch.

“As I sat in the prep room shooting down a gin and tonic at faster than the speed of light, the venue coordinator told me that since this is a state park, she could only take her to the lawn.

“They stayed ONE HOUR while my guests arrived.

“Thankfully nothing could spoil our perfect day, but if you’re even considering it, I urge you to seek therapy or seek God.”

She ended her post with a picture of her and her husband smiling for the camera.

After her post, many people actually CLOSED the bride for her post and her reaction to the couple.

One person wrote: “You had me until you said it was a state park. This is a public space and members of the public are allowed to be there.”

“They saw an opportunity and took it,” commented a second.

A third person hit her and said, “Wow. YOU spoiled your perfect day by acting like a selfish baby… MINE, MINE, MINE!!!

“I’m second-hand embarrassed that you’ve thrown a fit over something so trivial. I would have specifically congratulated them and asked if they needed anything.”

A fourth also said: “I don’t know, sis.

“I think you’re the one who needs therapy or God. You didn’t cross the private event signs or stand at your actual venue and sure it’s kind of weird but I’m pretty sure you came out and nicely asked to move so your guests could use the stairs that they would have

“If you come here hot and scream right away, you’ll always look like the horrible person.”

However, some others defended the bride for her reaction and shamed everyone else who criticized her.

“I’m amazed at how many people have the audacity to blame the bride for spoiling the day,” one person wrote.

“It was YOUR wedding, YOUR decoration, YOUR time, money and energy. How disrespectful can people be? Not your wedding.”

A second commented: “You all trip. If this were your wedding, you’d be amazed too.

“Personally, I wouldn’t have reacted that way, but you’re lying to yourself if you can’t see how cheesy and rude it is to pose in front of decorative items that you know are intended for someone else’s wedding.”

And a third added: “[The bride] and their loved ones set this up FOR THEIR DAY. The other couple was dead wrong. That part of the park was reserved for her.”

What do you think? Was the bride right in her reaction or was the couple allowed to take pictures with her decoration?
