All welcome the chefs of The bear.
The Original Beef of Chicagoland will return, and it’s safe to assume that many aspects of the restaurant will remain the same, although it will necessarily be different. That promise was fulfilled in the season finale after a spectacular spaghetti feast when Carmy posted a sign for The Beef to close and re-emerge as The Bear. And as revealed during an Oscars commercial break, FX has released a first teaser for Season 2. We have a premiere window and an emphasis on “a rebirth” and “no reopening.”
So June is officially the time when Season 2 will make people want Jeremy Allen White’s disheveled character again. We may find out if Carmy gets a promotion that doesn’t involve a sandwich or a malfunctioning ordering system. I still think that would ruin his kitchen vibes, but you can’t stop TV writers from doing their thing if they want to. Will Elan Moss-Bachrach’s Ritchie be stabbed again, in the kitchen or elsewhere? And will Ayo Edebiri eventually rule the world as destined?
No one would be upset if Jon Bernthal or Joel McHale made another cameo, and people responded enthusiastically to this teaser. FX was at the top with a “Yes Chef” and a salute.
I was throwing up all over the place, I’m so excited
