The Bachelorette’s Andi Dorfman goes shopping for a wedding dress: photos
Say yes to the dress! Former Bachelorette Andy Dorfmann had a great time trying on wedding dresses for her upcoming wedding with her fiancé Blaine Hart — but that doesn’t mean the shopping experience wasn’t exhausting.
“Longest day ever but it’s been amazing y’all,” Dorfman, 35, said in a video on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, December 20, after spending a day choosing clothes with her BFFs to go through “Nothing I’ve shown you is what we pick, but it was fabulous stuff. We really had the best stuff.”
The Georgia native spent the day in New York City with her closest friends looking for the perfect dress for her big day. Dorfman took to social media to share the exciting adventure with her fans and to show off some beautiful pieces from different designers.
“@markingramatelier you are the most beautiful person inside and out and @liza.lieberman.style the best stylist in the whole world!” The former reality star gushed over her Instagram Story while sporting a strapless white number with cascading flowers on the front attracted. “The clothes shopping was a bit overwhelming and the way you pull everything together with ease is 🤯.”
As a second possible option, Dorfman also tried on a layered tulle ensemble. “It had to be tried on 🤣,” she commented on a video of herself in the ivory dress. In a second clip, the ABC personality fell to the ground after trying to carry the heavy getup and wrote: “World’s most expensive mattress 😂”.
In order not to get overwhelmed during the fun dress-up day, Dorfman and her gang of girls relieved the stress the best they could: by toasting with some bubbly.
“How we survived 7 hours of clothes shopping today,” the Bachelor Nation star captioned a photo of herself and her best friends clicking together their glasses before heading to the airport with her 36-year-old fiancé.
Dorfman and Hart were first linked in the fall of 2021 when the attorney teased that she was in a serious relationship.
“I’ve obviously always been a little shy with relationships that have made the show and had that exposure, and it’s just a big thing that blows my mind,” Dorfman said exclusively Us weekly in February 2022, two months after revealing Hart’s identity. “I just met someone I wanted everyone to know. It sounds cliche, though [I wanted to] scream from the rooftops. I was like, ‘I want everyone to know how lucky I am in love, and I think the reaction is great because I didn’t know what the reaction was going to be.'”
While the couple went Instagram-official on New Year’s Eve in December 2021, they first met through a mutual friend 15 years prior. They reconnected in Italy in the summer of 2021.
I think we have great chemistry, a good connection,” enthused the commercial real estate professional Us in February 2022 of his love. “She’s very smart, also very funny, makes me laugh… The list goes on, but the humor is at the top.”
A month later, he proposed on the beach in Los Angeles. Hart made the sunset extra special when he popped the question with a 5-carat halo-cut halo split-shank ray-cut diamond designed by jeweler Sabri Guven, who had worked on Dorfman’s mother’s engagement ring 40 years earlier.
Prior to her romance with the South Carolina native, Dorfman appeared in season 18 of The bachelor in 2014. After she was dumped Juan Pablo Galavis During the Fantasy Suite dates, she was named Season 10 bachelorette. During her time on the show, she chose Josh Murray over the runner-up Nick Viall, but the couple quit after eight months together.
