Tennessee: Student pepper sprays teacher who confiscated her phone US News

A high school student pepper sprayed her teacher twice after he stole her cell phone.
The wild incident at Antioch High School near Nashville, Tennessee on Friday was caught on video by another student.
It began with a male teacher running out of a classroom after being pepper sprayed.
“She just sprayed me with pepper spray,” the teacher yells at another teacher.
The girl tries to retrieve her phone but the teacher pulls his arm away.
This prompts the girl to pepper spray him again, and he falls to the ground screaming in pain.
The student who is recording is heard saying, “Club is crazy!”
Another adult tries to intervene, telling the student to back off as she yells, “Can I get my phone” and “I need my phone.”
A teacher from another class tells the girl she can’t have her phone while the teacher keeps coughing and other adults come to control the situation.
“Via a phone?” you hear someone say “That’s crazy.”
According to Reddit user @Lazy_Mouse3803, who shared the video, the student who attacked her teacher had her phone taken for “texting and Googling answers for her schoolwork.”
According to the Reddit user, it was the second time the same teacher was attacked by a student. He was apparently punched in the face two months earlier after taking the cell phone from another student for using it to cheat.
