Teenagers are said to have attacked five brothels in one night in a robbery, police say

The man was allegedly hit in the head several times before the couple stole cash and an electronic tablet.

After the escape, police claim the trio targeted two other brothels in Clyde and Rydalmere, where they attempted to rob the shops.

At around 8am on Thursday, police executed a search warrant at a house in Marayong where two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, were arrested and taken to Riverstone Police Station.

The older boy was charged with eight felonies, including aggravated robbery resulting in wounding/aggravated assault, robbery and attempted robbery with an obnoxious weapon, theft and transportation without the owner’s consent.

The younger boy was charged with nine offenses including robbery and attempted robbery with obnoxious weapons, theft, driving and transporting without the owner’s consent. and dishonestly obtain financial advantage through deception.

The third boy, 16, was arrested later in the day at a house in Kyeemagh and taken to Kogarah Police Station.

He was charged with seven felonies, including aggravated robbery with wounding/aggravated assault, robbery and attempted robbery with an obnoxious weapon, and transportation without the owner’s consent.

All three teenagers were denied bail to appear in children’s court later on Friday.
