Teenage boy shot, killed in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS — A murder investigation is underway after someone shot dead a teenager in north St. Louis on Saturday night.

The shooting took place around 7 p.m. Saturday at the 5300 block of Northland Avenue. According to investigators, a 13-year-old boy was shot in the head.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not yet identified the victim or possible suspects.
