No mistletoe in sight! Tayshia Adams avoids one thing this holiday season: her ex-boyfriends.
The former Bachelorette, 32, shared a playful TikTok video about her former flames trying to reconnect with her – but made it clear she didn’t take the bait. “Ladies stay safe this holiday season 🤪,” she captioned the upload on Wednesday, December 21.
In the footage, Adams sat at a cafe table while wrapping up for the winter weather. The former ABC personality donned dark shades as she danced in her seat. “When they hit you with the merry christmas lyrics,” a caption read across the screen, while the word “nope” repeated over a hip-hop beat in the audio.
Meanwhile, the California native made her reality TV debut Colton UnderwoodSeason 23 of The bachelor in 2019. She completed the journey in the last two before returning in Season 6 of for another attempt to find The One Bachelors in paradise. She briefly broke a connection with John Paul Jonesbut the couple’s flame eventually fizzled out.
Adams made another appearance in the franchise in 2020 and took the lead The Bachelorette season 16 Clare Crawley started the season but left filming two weeks after falling head over heels for ex Dale Moss.
During the December 2020 finale, Adams got engaged Zac Clark. “I came here because I was supposed to be here and I came here because I was supposed to fall in love with you,” gushed the 38-year-old New Jersey native when popping the question. “In my entire life, nothing has felt so right. You helped me experience the love I didn’t know existed.”
Despite their strong chemistry, Us weekly confirmed the duo’s split in November 2021. “They eventually realized it wasn’t going to work out and their relationship took its course,” a source explained at the time, adding that the two “hadn’t even started wedding planning” before they called quit.
Earlier this month, the former “Click Bait” podcast co-host shared what she’s learned since she’s been looking for love on reality TV. “My greatest lesson [was] just to stay true to me and I feel like I did,” she said exclusively Us. “That’s something I’m really proud of and I feel like some people are caught in the mix of everything and I think the best way – the best course of action – is to just be yourself.”
Adams went on to shed some light on why she and Clark ended their engagement. “He and I both know the truth and where we stand, and I’ve never actually said anything to the media about our relationship except [that] we’re not together anymore,” she noted. “And I know people might think differently, but that’s literally the only statement we’ve ever made. I think it’s just a matter of maturity and how we decided to move on and yes, at the end of the day nobody else needs to know anything else.
Though fans have wondered if she’s moved on — Adams was linked to a chef named Dorian this summer, sparking dating rumors with Bravo Austen Kroll – The phlebotomist confirmed that she is single.
“People really want me to be in couple relationships. …My number one priority, honestly, I’ve said it before, I know people don’t believe me, but it’s really just worked on me,” she said Us. “And somehow find my own [way] in New York City but also to focus on the things that make me truly happy which is my philanthropic endeavors and I also love the fashion industry very much, [and] fitness and my sanity.”
