Taylor Swift wins Grammys for Best Music Video for “Blown Away.”

Ahead of the official 2023 Grammy Awards beginning tonight, several awards were presented during a pre-show, including the announcement of the winner for Best Music Video. In a stacked category that included entries from BTS to Harry Styles, Taylor Swift finally won for the 10-minute re-recorded version with her “All Too Well: The Short Film.”

It also marked Swift’s continued foray into directing as she cast Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien for the video. Over the past year, she has been attending film festivals such as TIFF to present and talk about her experiences in creating the project.

“I can’t put into words what this means to me. In order for @RecordingAcad and my colleagues to recognize me as a director and thereby recognize my work to try to reclaim my music…” she shared on Twitter. “I’m blown away. Thanks to all the fans who wanted it.”

Swift is still up for song of the year for “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”. She was also nominated for Best Country Song with “I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version) (From The Vault)” and Best Visual Media Song with “Carolina” from Where The Crawdads Sing, but did not win.

She is currently working on her recently announced directorial debut with Searchlight, with more details to come.
