Study Shows Massachusetts Is the Smartest State in the US – Boston News, Weather, Sports
According to a recent study by PennStakes.com, Massachusetts is the smartest state in the USA.
The study, which analyzed multiple components such as IQ and SAT scores, found that Massachusetts scored 93.9 out of 100 on the Smartest State Index. The state also had the second-highest IQ ranking, just behind New Hampshire.
The three smartest states include Massachusetts, Connecticut and Maryland.
West Virginia and Mississippi rank lowest on the index at 12.6 and 13.3, respectively.
