Stoughton Police investigate reports of shooting – Boston News, Weather, Sports

STOUGHTON, MASS. (WHDH) – Reports of Sunday’s gunfire have led to a police investigation in Stoughton which is ongoing as of Monday afternoon, according to the Stoughton Police Department.
Police said they “called for multiple shots” at around 8:10 p.m. in the back of the Price Rite store at 666 Washington St.
“Our initial investigation revealed that the altercation was between two men,” police said in a statement on Facebook on Monday.
Police said they had “no evidence to lead us to believe anyone was shot.” According to the police, however, the investigators secured two shell casings. Stoughton Police said no arrests had been made.
Stoughton Police described their investigation as “very active and fluid” and said they will provide updates when they are able. Meanwhile, police asked anyone who saw the incident to call them at 781-344-2424.
