Storm hooker Harry Grant wants to develop his game further
Melbourne whore Harry Grant provided a deadly double whammy with fellow rake Brandon Smith last year, but it’s the way he’s been developing his game this season after Smith’s departure that’s exciting the Storm.

Rarely in rugby league history has a team been blessed with such riches in the No 9, so much so that Grant was loaned out to Wests Tigers in 2020 for NRL experience.
He now flies solo as the undisputed number one storm hooker after Cameron Smith retired in late 2020 and Brandon Smith joined the Sydney Roosters after completing last season.

Grant, 24, would start and Smith would come off the bench or vice versa. They often spent a lot of time in the park at the same time, with Smith in the center forward role and Grant in the dummy half.
“For the last two years we’ve been blessed to have two of the top nines in the game on the same team… and when they were both on the field they were a great duo who worked so well together,” said Frank, general manager of Football by Storm said Ponissi.
