Starbucks employee said he took a 2-hour break from Viral TikTok

A Starbucks employee on TikTok posted a video of himself during a “2 hour break”, saying that the Starbucks he works for had “overstaffed”.

Nineteen-year-old Reese used the audio track of Louis Armstrong’s song “What a Wonderful World,” which includes the line that says, “What the hell is that?” In the video, Reese and several colleagues stand around. The video’s caption reads: “I’m just talking about myself [at this point] but come on guys let me go!! ”

The video was uploaded on Wednesday and has since garnered 58,000 views, along with numerous comments from people confused about whether his store is overcrowded.

“Excessive staff is a thing??” a questioner.

“My store is understaffed,” said another.

“And I’m here to do the work of three,” a third wrote.

“Over-staffed? Did you get that on Amazon? “Another question.

Many businesses in the food and service industries have had a shortage of human resources. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that 4 million Americans Retired in July 2021. The influx of people leaving their jobs has been dubbed the “Big Resignation”.

Daily Dot contacted the creator via email but did not receive an immediate response.
