ST. LOUIS — Police are investigating a double shooting Friday in north St. Louis City.
The shooting happened around 3 p.m. on Salisbury and North 21st streets in the Hyde Park neighborhood, according to a spokesman for the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Officers found the victim, a 19-year-old man, with gunshot wounds to his face.
The victim was unconscious but breathing. The male victim was taken to a nearby hospital and a second victim, a 16-year-old man, arrived at the hospital. The second victim was shot in the abdomen and is in critical, stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing and FOX 2 will provide updates as more information becomes available.
