Spotswood home for sale with no kitchen or bath for $1.6 million

A home missing two key rooms has hit the market at a price that may come as a surprise to some.
The weatherboard at 1 George Street in Spotswood, Victoria has a suggested retail price of $1.6 million, but it comes without a kitchen or bathroom.
The Hunter French Real Estate listed property in west Melbourne is an “existing period home” on a 500 square meter block.
Fans of the home renovation series The block You might want to snag this Fixer upper, which the agent says is “ideal for a cheeky makeover.”
“The house has no kitchen or bathrooms and requires extensive work to be move-in ready,” the listing reads.

Agent Michael Tsigeridis said he wasn’t sure why the back of the house was removed. He said he could only assume it was an attempt at renovation as the project was later abandoned.

Photos on the listing show only the exterior of the house, including a long walkway leading to a shed and a decent back yard.
