Spark’s delivery driver gets $499 worth of groceries for free

Video of a Spark delivery driver went viral after she shared a $499 grocery delivery from Walmart that she said she got for free after the customer canceled their order.
TikTok user Belinda (@belindamayy) says that on top of the huge order, she received a base fee of $50 for delivery. In a series of two videos, Belinda reveals some of the items from the massive order, which included plenty of frozen meats, breads, snacks, cheeses, fruit, beverages, condiments, cereals and more. The loot was so big, as she claims in her TikTok bio, she had to buy two freezers to store all the groceries.
@belindamayy I’m so lucky! I needed this blessing ✨ #sparkdelivery #shopper #freegroceries#jackpot #lucky #winner #instacartshopper #walmarthaul #fyp #freefood #hustle ♬ Original sound – ✨ 👸🏾 ✨
@belindamayy Y’all…this was so hard to fit in my fridge and freezer. Literally had to clean out and it’s all crammed. Will be doing a giveaway on site because that’s wild lol. #sparkdelivery #shopper #freegroceries #jackpot #lucky #winner #instacartshopper #walmarthaul #freefood #hustle #groceryhaul #fyp ♬ Original sound – ✨ 👸🏾 ✨
The Daily Dot contacted Belinda via TikTok comment and direct message, and Walmart via their press contact form. The video has been viewed 1 million times as of Monday, with many viewers praising the delivery driver for her “blessing”.
“WOW this is crazy it was meant for you!!” wrote one viewer.
“I would be on cloud nine for weeks if that happened to me. Congratulations!” a second applauded.
“What an incredible blessing!! I’m super excited for you over here,” praised a third.
However, there were some who weren’t so enthusiastic and warned her about what she should have done.
“You can’t keep this. I’m also radioing for you to return to the store,” said one user.
“Pretty sure you’ll have to take it all back,” echoed another.
“You should have returned that, if they find out you haven’t returned to Walmart Spark will deactivate you,” warned a third party.
In a follow-up video, Belinda explains why the order was canceled. According to the creator, the order was canceled by Spark himself because it was a “cold order violation,” meaning the cold groceries were in the cart for too long. She says she never received an explanation for the cancellation until she decided to call Spark and ask her about it.
Since the order was marked as “returned,” which she attributes to a bug in the app, the creator says she was able to keep it.
@belindamayy In reply to @JanaJ you don’t cancel orders to bless people. Spark shoppers don’t keep their groceries 99.9% of the time. Cancel on IC 😂😂🤪 (jk for legal purposes) #sparkdelivery #shopper #jackpot #lucky #winner #freefood #groceryhaul #fyp #whoops ♬ Original sound – ✨ 👸🏾 ✨
In her latest update video, Belinda shares a slideshow from the trip, which saw her trying to get the items into her freezer – she had to buy two – and how she ended up giving away some of the groceries, like the packets of eggs.
