Southborough Police rescue owl tangled in football net – Boston News, Weather, Sports

SOUTH BORO, MASS. (WHDH) – Southborough Police said two officers “scored a nice save” in rescuing an owl that became tangled in a football net over the weekend.

Southborough Police said officers Keith Nichols and Jake Woodford helped an owl that became entangled in a football net at P. Brent Trottier Middle School on Sunday.

“We are pleased to report that he was able to take off on his own after the rescue,” Southborough Police wrote in a Facebook post.
