Skier dies after collapsing on Deer Valley slope

A man collapsed Tuesday morning while skiing at Deer Valley Resort in Park City and was later pronounced dead.
A resort spokesman confirmed to FOX 13 News that around 10:45 a.m. a 75-year-old man collapsed on the Homeward Bound ski slope.
Members of the Deer Valley ski patrol responded, provided medical assistance and took the man from the resort to an ambulance. Paramedics from the Park City Fire District assisted, but the man was pronounced dead in the ambulance around 11:45 a.m., according to the resort.
