She appears in the latest ‘Mandalorian’ episode

Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Mandalorian Season 3, Episode 6, “Guns for Hire”.
The MandalorianSeason 3 of has been a mixed bag so far, with many episodes devoted to lore-heavy deep dives and a spate of cameos. And while some have been more impactful than others, the latest installment brings us a trio of stunning cameos that are sure to delight many fans.
In Guns for Hire, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff) travel to Plazir-15, a planet in the Outer Rim while attempting to capture Ax Woves (Simon Kassianides), Koska Reeves (Mercedes Varnado) and the rest of their old cohorts. Instead, they are drawn into a plan to solve Plazir-15’s droid problem by the planet’s rulers, Captain Bombardier (Jack Black) and the Duchess (Lizzo), who offer to recognize Mandalore as a “sovereign system” and the new one Republic request recognition as such” in exchange.
As Captain Bombardier and the Duchess explained, the planet is a democracy but also has nobility, and due to Captain Bombardier’s Imperial past, the planet is not permitted to have a military or weapons within the city walls. (Mandalorians are apparently an exception to this rule because guns are an integral part of Mandalorian culture.) While Din and Bo-Katan live there war of stars‘ version of law & order, Grogu helps the Duchess cheat in a game of power and is knighted in the process. And the Darksaber ends up back in Bo-Katan’s hands.
It’s a sillier episode that harkens back to season one’s heyday, both for its grogu moments — the duchess scratching Grogu’s little head like he’s a little cat is certainly a highlight — but one in which the Guest appearances themselves became the main attraction.
In an episode that featured Christopher Lloyd as villain of the week, Jack Black with a magnificent beard and Lizzo stole the show.
Lizzo has been quite vocal in her love for The Mandalorian: In 2021, she dressed up as a Grogu for Halloween. And as Lizzo opened up about her final appearance in the episode, she posted a photo of herself surrounded by grogu items and excitedly tweeted, “I’m in Star Wars YALL!”
Many fans are thrilled that Lizzo has “manifested” her way into it The Mandalorian, while the Duchess’ mindset of focusing on Grogu proved understandable. And one of the purest joys of war of stars (aside from all the cute pranks Grogu gets into each week) sees a famous one war of stars Fans get the chance to join the franchise.
Captain Bombardier and the Duchess could walk the path of many Mandalorian Numbers and never show up again and it may not get resolved The Mandalorian‘s bigger problems. But for a moment The Mandalorian was absurdly silly again – and that’s what Black and Lizzo did.
