BOSTON (WHDH) — The principal of the James F. Condon School in Boston on Tuesday sent a letter to parents home to let them know a student had brought a knife to class.

Officials said they were made aware of the knife and a “potential threat to another student” around 11am, according to the letter sent by principal Chrisholm.

Within minutes, the police arrived at the school and seized the knife. School officials said the student must face the consequences outlined in the BPS Code of Conduct.
