Schezwan Dosa’s Recipe: This Indo-Chinese dish is perfect for a mid-week chill

Schezwan dosa is a fusion of classic South Indian dosa with spicy Chinese schezwan sauce. Also known as jinni dosa, schezwan dosa is a hugely popular street food in Mumbai. Crispy dosa is stuffed with schezwan to create a spicy and crunchy dish.

Schezwan Dosa Recipe: How to Make Schezwan Dosa

Start by heating the oil in a pan. Stir-fry ginger, garlic, onion and green pepper over high heat. Add bell peppers, carrots, cabbage, and beans. Next, add the boiled noodles along with the Schezwan sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, vinegar, pepper, and salt. Toss them well to coat everything with the sauce nicely. Turn off the heat and let it cool.

Pour the dosa batter onto a griddle pan and spread thinly to form a large dosa. When the dosa is crispy from the bottom and cooked from the top, place the schezwan noodles on top of the dosa. Don’t flip the dosa, just fold it into a half-moon shape. Schezwan dosa is ready!
