Sam Adams Previews Super Bowl Commercial That Disrupts Boston Stereotypes – Boston News, Weather, Sports

BOSTON (WHDH) — Sam Adams has previewed his Boston-themed Super Bowl commercial, which celebrates the launch of a new take on Boston lager with a tongue-in-cheek love letter to the city.
The company shot the ad in multiple Boston locations and features some familiar faces.
Cambridge-born comedian Lenny Clark was seen in a scene at Croke Park, a South Boston dive bar, and Celtics star Kevin Garnett appeared at Commonwealth Books.
The commercial turns Boston stereotypes on their head, from a merry parking lot swap to historic sporting rivalries brushed aside.
Of course, the 2023 Super Bowl commercial wouldn’t be complete without an appearance from “Your Cousin from Boston” Greg Hoyt.
Sam Adams says the promotion was made possible by the people of Boston, as the shooting involved nearly 90 crew members and 50 actors, all from the city.
