Former Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Pace has a new job.

The Atlanta Falcons on Thursday announced it has hired Pace as its senior human resources executive. Pace previously worked with Falcons GM Terry Fontenot while with the New Orleans Saints.

Pace joins the Falcons staff that includes another former Bears GM, Phil Emery and former Tennessee Titans GM Ruston Webster, both senior human resources directors.

The Bears fired Pace on January 10 after seven seasons as GM, 48-65 and not scoring a playoff win.

The Falcons have a long list of former Bears coaches on their staff, including their current offensive coordinator Dave Ragone, quarterback coach Charles London, coach support coach Michael Pitre and outfield coach Ted Monachino.

Meanwhile, Ryan Poles, who replaces Pace as GM on January 25on Thursday hired Matt Feinstein as its football executive.

Feinstein was recently promoted to the NFL’s director of labor operations after six years as a manager and senior manager on the NFL’s management board. The Bears said in a release, Feinstein built quantitative models for roster and pay rules, and included the results in reports to the league’s senior management while at the club. in the council. A graduate of Michigan, he began his career with Lux Research as an analyst.
