This is the moment a Ukrainian plane narrowly dodges a Russian missile target during a dramatic dogfight.

Video footage shows the pilot performing some impressive maneuvers to avoid incoming missiles.

The Soviet-designed Su-25 fighter jet flies over a strait in the eastern Donbass region.

Suddenly, the pilot’s radar flashes, indicating he’s been attacked, so he performs a variety of complex maneuvers to evade the attack.

At one point during the collision, the plane’s wing comes dangerously close to the ground and some trees.

Miraculously, the pilot eventually escaped before the Russian missile was launched.

Meanwhile, in other areas of Donbass, the remains of more than 200 Ukrainian militants killed in the battle for Mariupol have been brought back, Ukrainian military intelligence says.

It said most of the 210 bodies brought back by Russian forces came from the Azovstal Steel Works, which became the city’s last remaining stronghold.

The agency did not say how many other bodies are believed to have remained in the rubble of the compound-turned-fortress.

Russia now controls the entire southern port city after months of being subjected to a brutal medieval-style siege.

Ukraine announced on Saturday that the two sides had each exchanged 160 dead fighters. It is unclear whether more bodies have been handed over in the meantime.
