Ruben Loftus-Cheek reveals how the Chelsea dressing room reacted to Tuchel canceling his day off

The Blues slipped through a two-goal lead on Saturday, with goals from Francisco Trincao and Conor Coady salvaging a 2-2 draw for the visitors.
The result puts Chelsea squarely back in a fight for Champions League qualification, with the club now just a point clear of Arsenal and five points clear of Tottenham with three games remaining in the season.
In response, Tuchel canceled Sunday’s aftermath and asked his squad to report back to training.
But Loftus-Cheek insists there was no bad feeling about the manager’s decision as the squad agreed it was the right move.
“You would love to end a game in the 60th minute but you rarely get that in this league,” the midfielder told Sky Sports. “The next day we went to the training ground.
“I don’t think the players saw it as a punishment at all. We came in and had a rest. Sometimes it’s better to do that when there’s a short turn to another game.
“We’ve been chatting amongst ourselves to make sure we’re all on the same page and on the same wavelength going into the Leeds game. It’s important for us to stay together.’
Chelsea meet Leeds United at Elland Road on Wednesday night, with the home side in dire need of a win after falling into the relegation zone.
Tuchel’s side then travel to Wembley for the FA Cup final against Liverpool on Saturday.
