PRINCE George made a joke about a TV presenter at the anniversary – and royal fans were thoroughly entertained.

The Cambridge family – including George, 8, and Charlotte, 7 – traveled to Cardiff ahead of the party at the Palace in London on Saturday.

During the Welsh visit, William and Kate and their children met entertainers who were putting on a show to mark the Queen’s 70th reign.

They were also introduced to Welsh weatherman Owain Wynn Evans, who rose to fame during lockdown for drumming to the BBC news theme tune.

He gave a brief demonstration to Charlotte and George to show off his technique – but it was his extravagant gold jacket, sequined shoes and glittery pants that caught the kids’ eye.

George joked about the glittering ensemble: “You need something in your hair too.”

Then he giggled and looked amused at his comment.

Royal fans loved the sweet moment and one said: “Prince George is laughing at his own joke.”

Another added: “He’s so proud of his little joke.”

And a third commented: “The way he smiles proves he was born our future king.”

Prince George and his siblings stole the show at the four-day Platinum Jubilee – and took center stage at a range of events.

George, Charlotte and Louis rode in a royal carriage at Trooping the Color on Thursday before stepping onto the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the Queen for the transfer.

The two oldest children from Cambridge watched the party at the Palace on Saturday night and George sang along to Sweet Caroline while proudly waving his flag.

They also had a very sweet reaction to the Queen’s Paddington Bear sketch, and George was seen cheekily being poked with a flag by Zara Tindall during the show.

On Sunday, George and his siblings watched the jubilee competition and ended the celebrations on the balcony with Her Majesty.
