With a full backing band and vocalist Yebba, the musicians gave a special performance of their track “Over” from Glasper’s award-winning album Black Radio III.

Although the track wasn’t a featured single (that label belongs to “Black Superheroes” featuring Killer Mike, BJ The Chicago Kid and Big KRIT), fans quickly got used to the song. Yebba’s buttery-smooth vocals and Glasper’s masterful piano skills demonstrate why he is so revered, while providing clear sonic guidance for the backing band. your performance on the track The Late Show was nothing short of spectacular.

Black Radio IIIis, as the title suggests, the third part of the musical series that Glasper started ten years ago. An episodic project, Black Radio blends elements of jazz, rap, hip-hop and R&B – a musical balancing act Glasper has walked throughout his career.

When asked about the legacy of the musical series, Glasper said: “black radio was always intended as an ongoing project, evolving over time, perhaps never completed, but anchored in its creative commitment to celebrating black music,” he adds: “The highest edition of Black Radio III brings more new songs that have a deeply personal meaning to me and are too special not to share with the world.”
