Road closures and projects that might impact your commute this weekend

It was a historic wet week across the subway, with record rainfall that caused its fair share of weather problems. At least five roads are closed due to flooding in several counties across the region, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

Here is a list of roads to avoid this weekend:

  • Route AA (Jefferson County)
  • Route F (Jefferson County)
  • Route AC (Franklin County)
  • Route H and BB (Lincoln County)
  • Route P (Pike County)

As soon as the rain stops, construction work will be ramped up again. Here are some projects that might impact your commute this weekend and next week.

  • I-270 in St. Louis County will be closed up to two lanes east and west from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. from Lindbergh to I-170.
  • Drivers using northbound I-270 overnight should note two closures to replace signs over the freeway scheduled for next week. Crews will close two lanes on northbound I-270 immediately south of I-44 at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 10. Signs across the freeway.
  • Two eastbound right lanes will be closed Tuesday through Friday next week for bridge repairs on the Blanchette Bridge over I-70.
