Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT) members have presented a round-up of grievances over pay freezes, pensions, job losses and more.
Around 50,000 railway workers went on strike on June 21-23, while a strike is also planned for June 25 – the dates to coincide with the first Glastonbury Festival since 2019.
And with thousands of Britons hoping to go abroad for their summer holidays, plans appear to be disrupted by the strikes.
So if you’re traveling on Eurostar, read on to find out if your travel plans will be affected.
Will Eurostar travel be affected by the RMT strikes in June 2022?
According to Eurostar Twitter The international railway company has no plans to take part in strike action.
When asked if their services would be affected by train strikes on June 21, 23 and 25 by members of the public, Eurostar replied answered: ‘Hello, we do not expect the UK National Rail strike to affect Eurostar service.’
While the strike will result in tens of thousands of railway workers stopping service over the three set days, Eurostar is not currently among the 13 train operators affected.
However, your travel to the UK Eurostar terminals at King’s Cross St Pancras International, Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International may be affected, so allow plenty of time when making your way to the station.

Why are rail workers on strike in June?
The RMT strike action is taking place for a number of reasons after negotiations did not go to plan for the union.
Mick Lynch, RMT General Secretary, said: “Railway workers have been treated appallingly and despite our best efforts in negotiations, the rail industry, with government support, has not taken their concerns seriously.
“We have a cost of living crisis and it is unacceptable that railway workers either lose their jobs or face another year of a pay freeze when inflation is at 11.1% and rising.
“Our union will now launch an ongoing campaign of industrial action that will shut down the rail system.
“Rail companies are making profits of at least £500m a year while fat cat rail bosses have been paid millions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“This injustice fuels the anger of our members and their determination to reach a fair settlement.
“RMT is open to meaningful negotiations with rail bosses and ministers, but they must come up with new proposals to prevent months of disruption on our railways.”
