RICK Ross has posted Instagram Stories of himself cruising around in an expensive convertible in Fayetteville, Georgia near his $5.8 million mansion.
The series of Instagram Stories features Ross’ lime green Corvette C8 Stingray worth $68,000.
One of Ross’ Instagram Stories shows his Corvette’s hardtop raising with a convenient car key command.
Ross learned this command through an online video inquiry.
Ross said in his video, “Last week I made it with the homie Jay Leno.”
Jay Leno hosts the television show Jay Leno’s Garage on CNBC.
Ross added, “I’ve seen a Corvette and I’ve seen a Mustang, you know, that was his [Leno’s] generation, so I figured it was only right that I got the Stingray the next day.”
Ross then asked if any of his viewers knew how to remotely drop the top on his Corvette using the key.
Ross urged viewers of his video to send him a Direct Message “like a cool player” rather than “like a teacher.”
The 46-year-old rapper ended his series of car stories by filming his Shelby F-150 pickup truck parked next to his Corvette.
The Shelby F-150 is a hybrid of two successful Ford models; the Shelby Cobra and the F-150 pickup.
Shelby Cobras are a powerful offshoot of the Mustang, and the F-150 is part of Ford’s hugely successful F-Series.
Ford’s F-Series was the best-selling pickup truck of 2021 with 362,000 units sold, Newsweek reports.
The Shelby F-150 starts at $107,000 for the 450-horsepower model and $115,000 for the 775-horsepower version.
Filming his Shelby F-150, Ross said, “There’s nothing wrong with starting at the bottom. It is your decision whether you stay there.”
