Retired Townsend cop accused of offering sex to woman and posing as a cop - Boston News, Weather, Sports

TOWNSEND, MASS. (WHDH) – A retired Townsend police officer has been accused of offering sex to a woman and later posing as a police officer to ensure she did not report the incident, authorities said.

Police said they were contacted by an employee of a local business about the incident. Police launched an investigation and arrested 60-year-old Thaddeus Rochette on Friday.

Rochette will appear in court next month.
