Reports: Missouri woman accused of burning dog’s body for sacrificial purposes

MOBERLY, Mo. — A central Missouri woman is accused of strangling her mother’s dog and then burning the animal’s body as part of a sacrifice.
The Randolph County Attorney’s Office last week blamed Brianna Lingo29, with offenses of stealing an animal and animal abuse.
According to reports Local media called Moberly Police to the 300 block of Wightman Street around 4am on Thursday 9 June. There they met the homeowner, who said her daughter killed her terrier mix dog and threw it on the hearth in the yard.
Lingo’s mother is said to have told the police about her daughter did this as a sacrifice.
Police claim Lingo later admitted to the crimes during interrogation.
