Redmi Note 11T, Note 11T Pro will be officially launched in China in May

Redmi Note 11T and Note 11T Pro will be officially launched in China this month. Some of the recent rumors suggested that Redmi could have the Note 12 series on its cards next. However, this announcement squashes those rumours. The Xiaomi-owned brand has hinted that these smartphones would offer a significant performance boost over their predecessors. Redmi has not revealed any concrete details about these upcoming smartphones. With the launch scheduled for May, we can expect more information about the Redmi Note 11T and Note 11T Pro to surface in the coming days.

Redmi announced the upcoming release of the Redmi Note 11T and Note 11T Pro via its official Weibo handle. As mentioned, the company has not revealed any hardware specifications of these smartphones. However, a recent report suggested that this lineup in China would include a MediaTek SoC. The Redmi Note 11T series could cost between CNY 1,599 and CNY 2,500 (approx. Rs. 18,400 to Rs. 29,700). In addition, the Redmi Note 11T Pro has been equipped with a 144 Hz LCD screen.

These phones were allegedly spotted on the China Compulsory Certification (3C) website. According to the alleged listings, the Redmi Note 11T could house a 4,980mAh battery and support 67W fast charging. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11T Pro is said to have a 4,300mAh battery and offer support for 120W fast charging. Both handsets have also been designed for a 6.6-inch display and a thickness of 8.8mm.

Notably, Redmi has already launched the Redmi Note 11T 5G handset in India. Pricing starts at Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage model. It features a 6.6-inch Full HD+ display with an adaptive refresh rate of 90Hz. This smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
