Realme Pad X Launch Confirmed For May 26; Design, specs teased

Realme Pad X will be launched in China on May 26, the company has announced via a dedicated landing page on its website. Ahead of its official debut, Realme has started taking pre-reservations for the new tablet. Realme also shared a poster on the Chinese microblogging platform, revealing the tablet’s design and rear camera module. It can be seen in a fluorescent green color option with stylus support. The upcoming Realme Pad X could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. It is expected to come with 5G connectivity with two configurations of RAM and storage – 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB.

The launch event will take place at 2 p.m. in China local time (11:30 a.m. IST). Pre-reservations for the Realme Pad X are currently available on its online store. The device can be booked in the fluorescent green color option. The tablet’s renders show a single camera sensor on the back and is confirmed to support the stylus. However, the price details of the upcoming tablet are not known at the moment.

Key specs of Realme’s next tablet, previously dubbed the Realme Pad 5G, have been leaked multiple times in the past. It is expected that there will be a Snapdragon 870 SoC variant and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC variant. The variant powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC is said to have a 2.5K LCD display (2,520 x 1,680 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It could offer stylus support and is expected to be supported by an 8,360mAh battery.
