Raytheon relocates Mass headquarters. to Virginia—Boston News, Weather, Sports

Waltham, Mass. (WHDH) – Defense giant Raytheon Technologies is moving its global headquarters from Waltham to Arlington, Virginia, the company announced on Tuesday.

The company will be closer to its US government and aerospace customers in Arlington’s Roslyn area. The Intelligence & Space business is already located there.

Despite the move from Massachusetts, Raytheon will maintain a strong US presence with 600 facilities in 44 states and territories.

According to Zippia, Raytheon is the state’s eighth largest employer with approximately 67,000 employees in Massachusetts.
