A San Diego dealership released an Instagram post showing rapper Rod Rave’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
The vehicle of the 22-year-old rapper is equipped with many individual accents.
Champion Motoring is the dealership that Wave chose to personalize its Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV.
Champion Motoring is a top choice among athletes and celebrities, reports Auto Evolution.
The Cullinan has a base price of $348,000 and remains Rolls-Royce’s only SUV.
Images inside Wave’s Rolls-Royce show two-tone red and black upholstery and a starry headliner.
The Rolls-Royce Starlight headliner is one of the manufacturer’s most popular custom designs.
According to Rolls-Royce’s website, “The unique effect of the Starlight headliner is achieved by placing delicate strands of fiberglass at varying depths and angles – to cause light to escape in multiple directions and at varying intensities.”
Starlight headliner lights are adjustable and designed in a configuration unique to the vehicle owner.
According to Rolls-Royce, it typically takes nine hours to complete a Starlight headliner – with more complicated custom patterns taking over 17 hours.
“First the leather is perforated with 800 to 1,600 holes, each carefully counted. Fiber optic lights are embedded in these holes,” reports Rolls-Royce.
“The craftsman then ensures that the fiber height on the hidden side is correct and that they are perfectly lustrous on the exposed leather surface.”
Rolls-Royce describes the attractiveness of its Starlight headliner as the perfect marriage of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.
Hopefully Wave won’t crash this opulent cruiser the way it once crashed its Corvette Stingray.
In 2020, Wave hit a light post with his Corvette Stingray, leaving the rapper with internal bleeding and auto repairs.
That Corvette accident happened a month after Wave bought the 490-horsepower sports car.
