Raising Cane employee says store is out of chicken
In a viral TikTok video, a Raising Cane customer records walking through the restaurant’s drive-thru. However, a worker at the fast-food chain claims he ran out of Cane’s staple: chicken.
The video posted by user @banks601y documents their brief conversation with Cane’s employee. At the time of publication, her video has over 31,900 views.

“Did you say you’re out of chicken?” the TikToker asks the drive-thru attendant.
“Yes ma’am. We are,” replies a worker who is unseen by viewers.
“OK. Don’t you even have a two piece in there?” @banks601y continues.
“No ma’am,” says the clerk at the Cane.
The Daily Dot reached out to @banks601y via TikTok comment and Cane’s via email. It’s unclear what groceries the store continued to sell when it ran out of chicken and which Mississippi location @banks601y was visiting.
However, in the comments, many viewers questioned why the chain stayed open when it ran out of chicken.
“They might as well be closing up shop at this point,” said one commenter.
“How the hell does a chicken shop run out of chickens!!!???? Damn!!!” wrote another viewer.
“Why are they even coming?” asked a third TikToker. “Just shut down the whole place.”
