Prince Harry reveals how he uses his ‘energy’ to keep Archie and Lilibet from crying

Prince Harry is focused on being the best dad to little Archie and Lilibet and is trying to learn from past mistakes.

It’s been an intense week for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after they were reportedly invited to King Charles’ coronation in May.

The king also sat down with Dr. Gabor Maté to talk about his biography Spare in a live interview.

Speaking about fatherhood, Harry shared his secret to getting his two children, ages three and one, to stop crying.

He said: “Your children absorb your energy more than you will ever know.

“If you had asked me about energy seven, eight, ten years ago, I would have said, ‘What are you talking about?’ When I had my first child, I realized what was going on.”

Harry emphasized that it’s “all about energy,” before adding, “Sometimes I’ve had to step out of the room, take a deep breath, breathe out.

“And I’m literally trying to shift all my energy and go back in. And suddenly he falls asleep in my arms.’

He also shared that he believed children should be given space to experience anger and frustration, the Mirror reported.

“If they have a moment of frustration, let them and then talk to them about it,” the father added.

“Kids with these flare-ups are part of growing up, I think.”

As well as discussing which drugs helped him mentally, the prince also opened up about his deployment to Afghanistan and the death of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales.
