“There was always this competition between us, oddly enough, I think it’s set in the … heirs/heirs,” he said in an interview with Good morning America.
According to leaked manuscripts, Harry accused William and his wife Catherine, the Princess of Wales, of supporting his decision to wear a Nazi costume to a party, saying the couple howled with laughter when he tried it on.
Another report says Harry is writing about a physical fight he says his brother started over an argument over his wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
And in another sign of how far away a reconciliation between Harry, Charles and William might be, Britain’s ITV aired a clip of Harry saying he doesn’t know if he’ll be attending his father’s coronation in May .
The Guardians US-based reporter Martin Pengelly reported that Harry, grieved at the death of his mother, sought out a woman “who claimed to have powers” and that he immediately sensed an energy around her.
Diana died in a car accident in Paris in 1997 when Harry was 12 years old.
In his memoirs, he relates that the woman conveyed the following message: “You live the life she couldn’t, you live the life she wanted for you.”
According to the report, Harry acknowledged that his grief made him a ripe target for “cheating,” but that he went to the unnamed woman on the recommendation of trusted friends.
He said the woman answered his question for “clarity” about her testimonies by mentioning a Christmas ornament.
“Your mother says… something about Christmas decorations? From a mother? Or a grandma? It fell? Broke?” The woman is quoted as saying to Harry.
Harry’s book also tells an anecdote of his son Archie accidentally breaking a Christmas tree ornament designed to represent his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The woman said, “Your mom says she giggled a bit about that.”
The woman said to him, “Your mother is with you…right now,” causing his neck to warm and his eyes to water.
Harry agreed and said to the woman, “I know. I’ve felt that lately.”
The book does not describe when this encounter took place or the identity of the woman.
In his book, Harry says he regularly drives through the tunnel in Paris where Diana’s fatal car accident occurred to try to understand what happened.
In a Netflix documentary that caused a stir last year, Harry spoke of the resemblance between Diana and his wife and that moving to the US was something his mother might have done herself had she not died.
